We leave c. half way through stoppage time and do a runner for the park n ride.
Rarely if we are pressing for a goal, and it looks feasible, we stay until the end
So far we've been lucky and never missed an Albion goal, eg late winners vs Leicester and Forest last year.
This 'compromise' means we get home at 5.15, rather than 6.15, and to us its worth it.
At Withdean, we always stayed to the bitter end, and saw some incredibly late winners eg Sandaza vs Oldham, and Bridcutt vs some team.
Overall, its simply the logistics and crowds of shipping 26,000 away from the outpost of Falmer thats caused all this. Last season from the WSU you could see it getting worse as the season progressed. More and more fans leaving earlier and earlier to beat each other to the trains, Bennetts Field Car Park, and buses.
