Reading 4/1
Man U 8/11

Bookies rarely get it wrong, but I think I might have a dabble on Reading.

Am I the only one to think the Boro v Baggies game would be a little more enticing.
Man Utd have been on every round so far.

nah I still remember going to that shithole that was Elm Park and watching us get beat and Reading get promoted. I think MM was the manager at the time there. Just seeing how far they've come since will resurrect my dwindling optimism about Falmer for a couple of hours. Seeing two ex Albion players and a an ex Albion manager makes it even better. In fact I hope they win which is something I can't have imagined myself thinking until this season

The man u game will get more views tho, thats why the bbc have picked it. Same with Arsenal on sky tomorrow.

I'm probabily just watch the second half and see what the score is then, as it gets boring seeing the same teams on tele all the time

I was talking to an Arsenal supporting mate about live games. They have been live on either Sky Sports 1, Pay Per View Match, ITV 4 or BBC1 for all 14 games since the 6th January.

Including tomorrows match which is on SS1 it has been

SS1 - 8 matches
BBC1 - 3 matches
PPV - 2 matches
ITV 4 - 1 match

After tomorrow 33 matches will have been shown live this season (44 played to date this season)

7 Champions League
6 Carling Cup
5 FA Cup
26 League matches

I dont have sky and get bored with the choice of FA Cup matches. He hates what SKY have done to the Premiership and hardly ever goes now as 3pm Saturday kick offs no longer exists for Arsenal!

Another wonderful example of how the FA kowtow to television companies.

Here's the 1/4 final fixtures:

Saturday 10 March
Middlesbrough/ West Brom v Man Utd/ Reading, 17:30

Sunday, 11 March 2007
Arsenal/ Blackburn v Man City, 16:00
Chelsea v Tottenham, 12:45
Plymouth v Watford, 18:00

Not one tie at 3pm on a saturday. As for poor old Watford fans. Away at Plymouth for 6pm kick off on a Sunday FFS! And they wonder why attendances are falling

Yeah. 12.45, for f***'s sake. That hardly allows any drinking-time.

Okay, I understand that may be part of the point, but still, I disapprove...

I fancy Reading to win as well. At home against a weakened United side, there is always a chance.
