In order of ability, from best to worst.

When 100% fit:
1. Elphick (although I don't think he's been THAT great this season, he's young, strong and manages to get in front of most things)
2. Virgo (superb when he plays at the back, Championship/Scottish experience, class against Man City)
3. Lynch (fantastic at the end of last season, solid against Northampton)
4. Hinshelwood (looked a really prospect before he f***ed his knee)
5. Hawkins (powerful, but lack of games at this level is possibly showing)
6. El-Abd (erratic, but still decent on his day)

at current fitness:

1. Elphick
2. Virgo
3. Lynch
4. El-Abd
5. Hawkins
6. Hinshelwood

Just intruiged really. Some people seem to think Hinshelwood is the new Bobby Moore when fit, others will praise Hawkins even when he's poor, simply because they dislike Elphick.

What do YOU reckon?

I always rated Hinsh and Lynch as our top centre-back pairing, they looked pretty good together on the odd time I saw them, unfortunately there seems more chance of getting a joint appearance by Lord Lucan and Shergar...which is really sad!
