Quality management by Poyet

Poyet is way in advance of some people on here. The development squad playing the same way as the first team squad is what they do at Barca and even in the Spanish national side.

Give it 3 years time and there will be a first team backed up by an entire club used to pass and move football, with kids pushing to break into the side who have the ability to play the most potent style of football that has dominated European and World football for the last 10 years.

It is such a simple idea to have a development squad playing the same way but its never happened before at Brighton or at many other English clubs. Games like Wrexham, home and away also help with that development.

All the best to Wrexham who are in the ranks of Doncaster and Plymouth as allies of the Albion who understand how to fight for their club.

What the hell are you talking about? Thats far too long term and patient. According to people on here Poyet is shit. How dare he build a team based on pass and move. What the hell is he and bloom doing building a legacy at the club. It's all about spending shit loads of money on players now. To hell with the infrastructure and the future. Let's spend, spend, spend and let the future be damned

Agreed in terms of the development squad playing the same way and in terms of the passing game.

However still think we should put our best team out for the FA Cup.

I know you're obviously fishing but this is probably the worst case of fishing I've seen for a while as nothing the OP wrote could be deemed as delusional whatsoever, especially as the youth academy is something your beloved Palace pride themselves upon so often.

...Palace pride themselves upon so often.[/QUOTE]

Not entirely sure why. After all the Albion managed to produce Gareth Barry during the lowest ebb in its history. Palace's academy, for all its PR have yet to produce someone of that stature.

Leaving the plastic palace fans out of this (lets see them turn up in Brighton style numbers for a semi final then melt away to their 11,000 for a league game), its great to see English players brought up playing pass and move football.

Explain the delusion part then, dickhead? The first paragraph is true. The second paragraph is what the intention is from the club to do. The third paragraph is true. And the fourth is also true. Clearly you are a tosser.

Spot on. This club is undergoing a massive change and we will reap the benefits for years to come.

This is such a fine posting, condenses and represents my thoughts entirely. I can see us having 5-6 of the development squad playing in the first team next season in a successful Championship side.

Bring these kids on.

Fantastic management from Gus.
