[Albion] QPR away - who’s going?

Decent preseason friendly on a Saturday afternoon in London at a proper old school ground - will be a great day out
'Old school ground' Horrible away end with a view of the crossbar in the School End top tier if you're lucky. If they give us the bottom tier I'll go in there but if not I'll try for the Stan Bowles Stand. Plenty of places to eat and drink outside of Shepherds Bush before heading in at the last-minute too. I'll make a proper day of it.

The MET kindly gave us our own tube train, they then walked us up Uxbridge Road where QPR tried to attack the lads in the escort without much success I might add.
Wouldn’t bother with a friendly though they are all shit.
Was this when the Met rounded all the Albion fans up in Hammersmith and put us in a pub?
I remember the Met surrounded the pub and wouldn’t let us leave, they then gave us an escort to the tube, searched everyone and then an escort to Loftus Rd to make kick off by seconds.

Could well make the trip. Last time I went to Loftus Road was one of the Micky Mouse cups. Clarke Carlisle kicked the proverbial out of Leon Knight.
Always rated Clarke Carlisle

I was there in 1973. One of the last games of the season, as I recall they were already promoted and we were already relegated

Mullery, Byrne, Zamora, John Gregory - must be a couple of more ’connections’ over the years?

Gary Borrowdale just popped into my head.
