Firstly, I wouldn't mirror the actions he displayed yesterday. I wouldn't drop to that level. Thumping someone just because they don't support the team as you. Draw your own conclusions...............

If I 100% recognised him, I'd do the best thing and report him to the nearest steward / pc as so the same thing doesn't happen to somebody else

Yeah we came across this prick as well. He came over to our table outside Spoons bragging that he'd just punched a Brighton fan in the face which was obviously you Dirty Dave.

My mate was wearing an Ospreys rugby top which interested him somewhat. Didn't like the fact he was a Brighton fan AND Welsh!

I would always be very wary hanging around in an Albion shirt in a place like Leeds.
Surely there is always a chance you could get unlucky with a twat like this.

Wasn't going to post it on here but the same happened to me (potentially the same bloke?). Came upto us and threatened us in Spoons after the game, and was told to f*** off by the Leeds fans we were chatting to (who pointed out we were friendly and wearing colours).

He disappeared then as I was waiting for some of the others to get things from the shop in the station, he came up from behind and twatted me in the side of the head - I didn't see a thing, just suddenly ended up on the floor! He had picked a bit of a stupid fight though as there was quite a few of us, and a couple of my mates (one of them a poster on here) quickly pinned him down and the shop people called the police.

He got arrested and I've been back in touch with the police today to arrange statements - there were plenty of witnesses, Albion, Leeds and passers-by. So if it was the same bloke at least he's getting dealt with accordingly.

is what happened to me yesterday. I was waiting just down the road from the station after the game as there was over an hour until my train back.

I was talking on my mobile (non football / Leeds / Albion related) when a local stopped in front of me, turned to face me and said "You dirty bastards" and punched be right in the face, completley unprovoked.

It was hard enough to draw blood and stunned me a bit.

Just wondered what is up with f***ing inbreds and if anyone had any problems of their own?

Now I'm considering not wearing my colours to away games in future but why should I be in this position. Fuckin twats the lot of them

You were unlucky to get a slap but obviously the bloke was a thug who was going to have a go at anyone. If there is any trouble nowadays it will involve those not wearing colours and you become a potential target by not wearing a shirt/scarf etc. Furthermore you will find that the police and stewards adopt a different attitude as statistically fans wearing colours are not seeking confrontation.

Have to say though, it's been great going to towns & city's previously 'dodgy' to see fans in colours mixing & drinking together.
