pub near Victoria Station tomorrow

Oh oracle that is NSC.Can anyone recommend me a decent pub in spitting distance of Victoria St tomorrow? got a bit of time to kill while i wait for a friend arrive before going to Brisbane Road

Concur, by the bus station - London Bus station as opposed the coach station quite a way from there.

Why are you going to Victoria which is in the west end when orient is east end?
From Sussex its train to London Bridge, then jubilee line to stratford and central line to Leyton

got to meet a friend there and he has already booked his ticket to victoria so i might as well go there then go on, its not much out the way..

Between 16:00 and 20:00, weekdays:

There will be no ticketing facilities inside the station
You may be asked to wait outside the station to prevent overcrowding
Once inside the station it may take up to 15 minutes to reach the platform

Whats Weatherspoons like at Victoria Station, havent been in there for some years as I very rarely go to Victoria usually Waterloo or London Bridge.

This one, used to use the place often when I worked in Victoria Street. Smallish but traditional. Best pub in the locale of Victoria Station.

When I was young my dad used to take us to London for the day and always caught the 7.25 train home to Worthing/ Before catching the train we used to go to a pub up a side street by Victoria Palace, think it was called The Duke of York and he convinced me it was the best beer ever because the beer pipe went straight to the brewery whcih was at the end of the road.
