Just look at all the vacant seats at the Stadium of Light (MOTD now) - think fans are finally voting with their feet over the high prices of tickets.

It wasn't full when we went there last October.

Which was the Championship - not sure what point you are making.

Not sure what the % is but there was an article in the Times earlier this week and attendances are definitely down quite a bit -citing the "Ashes" factor.

Boro have had masses of empty seats, I think they had 29k for their last game, the same as the Black Cats had today, although it looks worse at Sunderland as their stadium has a 40k capacity and Boro's is 35k

Also looking at the impressive crowd at Villa off the back of their
4-0 loss to West Ham does make you wonder how many more people would go if Saturday games started after 5pm rather than at 3pm.

What Beachy said. But then again, there were still 31,000 of them in there. That place is huge :nono:

Villa's attendance yesterday was 4000 down on last season average.

Its just too expensive now.

I wonder how many teams average has gone up.

Coventrys' has, and i think Norwichs' has slightly.
