We didn’t half dodge a bullet with Edourd.
I’d normally take the piss out of hundreds of empty seats at that pit but to be fair they were also affected by the greedy twats.

Did Hodgson just have a little dig at the Palace fans then? Tonight gets better. I’d be throwing something at the TV if he was our manager and came out with that shite after a home defeat to a relegation rival. He’s like the football manager equivalent of Boris Johnson!

Just watched it - his comment was very “history lesson”ish…

I swear he looks more like Emperor Palpatine every time I see him.
Edit: to be clear, I mean the original Emperor in the Empire Strikes Back:

I wouldn't want to call it.

For the first time in decades, I reckon up to five clubs could win it: Liverpool, City, Arsenal, Villa and Newcastle, with ourselves, Spurs and Man Utd all in the next tier.
Part of me is happy that there are new teams challenging the "big 6".

But does it have to be snidey whingey Villa and blood money Newcastle?

Surely Liverpool are the least repulsive option.

I only saw the "highlights" - but Guehi ??!! How the hell that guy gets anywhere near the England team is incredible*. Palace have got some interesting games coming up - Liverpool, Man City, then us. Their fans could be really revolting come 21st December....

*well, maybe not (Southgate)

Liverpool yet again getting the rub of the green with decisions. THREE yesterday v Sheff Utd (fouls before their goals and Sheff being denied a pen) - to add to the foul in the build-up to their winner v Fulham at the weekend.

I swear the 'big six' get a hatful of extra points every season due to officials' reluctance to award decisions against them.

Jim Beglin, take a bow son.

Calvert-Lewin misses a sitter, "should be called Calvert-Shoo-in".

Laugh? I almost bought my own beer.

Engerlands number 1 must enjoy smacking the ball as hard and high at every opportunity. What a talentless footballer he is.

I'm very satisfied with the current scores - an Everton win would be even better!
