I must be watching something different. That's 100% come off his arm.

You know they explained two seasons ago that it wasn't handball down to the end of the player's sleeve (based on standard football shirt sleeve length)? Handball had to be below that.

Correct decision (although probably not in the spirit of the game).
Forget spirit of the game, if it's handball then fair enough, but it seemed to be above the bottom of his sleeve (and he didn't have long sleeves).

"For the purposes of determining handball offences, the upper boundary of the arm is in line with the bottom of the armpit."

The sleeve line is the hem on the shoulder.

When it was all explained, there were images showing how the bottom of the armpit line up with the bottom of the sleeve.

Eh? No one is talking about the hem. They showed us back when we were looking at our game against Spurs.

This explains where is and isn't handball.

You just need to be sure it's below that line to overturn the decision:

Lots of sides who look really poor to be honest this season, rather than anyone who looks amazing. So far after two games to be fair.

Everton look f***ed. Wolves defending was comical. Ipswich are going to struggle as most predicted.

It also looked like it might have hit the defender's arm. Maybe it should be a penalty.
Ha. Don't think so but at least we can console ourselves that it happened to Plucky which makes it funnier. Downside was it saved the Saudi apologists which is disappointing.

Lots of players just coming back from euros / cops America’s/ Olympics, new squads , transfer window still open , this part of the season is a bit of a mess , and then after next week an international break. Need to wait until 10 games before we start to access teams IMHO.
