I hadn't realised how many games against lower teams we had to play (current leagure position in brackets).

12 against the bottom 1/2.
9 against the bottom 1/3.

Looking good.....

Yeah, we have a decent run-in IMO although I think we will drop a few more points than you have predicted. We will be very close to 92 points (2 points per game target).

Remember though that towards the end of the season it is probably better to be playing teams in around 10th-16th than below that, ie teams with nothing much to play for.

The final 4 being the trickiest I think, a case for a drawing all of them & only getting 4 points from a possible 12. I'd like to think we'd get at least 7 points from the final 4 games but my heart tells me 8-10 points & up as Champions.

We have a great chance with that run in- didn't realise we had that many lower position teams to play but agree with Smithy.

Quickly totted up 30 more points out of that lot, and that was being quite cautious too. 86 points should be plenty for Automatic Promotion

Looking at that the only games that "could" be an issue are Scc and uddersfield. I also don't see any reason why we couldn't win our next 10 fixtures. I know I'm very optimistic. But hey that's me. 45 points is possible.

Bloody hell! In our next 10 games we play only 2 teams in current top 14 of the division. It really is down to ourselves isn't it.

Plymouth Argyle 3
Milton Keynes Dons 1
Yeovil Town 3
Carlisle United 3
Brentford 1
Tranmere Rovers 3
Oldham Athletic 0
Notts County 3
Swindon Town 3
Dagenham & Redbridge 3
Rochdale 0
Sheffield Wednesday 3
Dagenham & Redbridge 3
Walsall 3
Southampton 1
Colchester United 0
Huddersfield Town 0
Notts County 3

TOTAL: 92 points

We'll lose at Colchester - but celebrate promotion on the same day.
And we'll have a massive Withdean celebration at the Huddersfield game - and lose.

28 games played so far and only 4 games lost. You seriously believe we will lose another 4 games with 18 left?

It seems like a good run-in towards the end of the season, But agreeing with Mellotron. These clubs in the lower part of the table will be out to salvage anything they can and can prove more difficult than the fixtures against those mid-table.

I'm going to disagree and I think it's going to be quite simple. We will walk through the lower placed clubs but will find it harder against those nearer the top. I've always been of the belief that you win the league by winning the games you should win and can afford to let it slip against the so called "six pointers".

That's how Man United have generally done it (and Arsenal haven't) and I think this season will pan out the same.
