Probably would have started with the team that finished the game. Didn't think Sparrow or Kishishev played well and we were over run a bit in the middle. When Calderon was pushed up into the right winger role and Bennett into the middle we took hold of the game finally.

That's what I was thinking. However, GP probably wanted to rotate the squad and make the subs "prove him Wrong" (which they certainy did when they came on).

El Abd

I thought he'd get a red for that challenge, from H it looked like last man back/stopping a goal scoring chance. But thats just because Gavin Ward is a **** IMO and he'd send El Abd off for that because his inability to referee a football match knows NO bounds.

Their keeper was the best thing they had. He made saves he had no right to make, everything in football said we should have had 3 goals, but he saved so many.

He's clearly a loanee with the number 51... one to watch?

All 3 subs were much better than the players they replaced on the night. Doesn't mean that they are always going to be that way, but does suggest we have a decent squad. WIth the youngsters (Dunck, Smith, Caskey etc) just behind things are looking good.

Barnes looked twice the player, from the moment Murray came on. That tells you LOTS about Glenn Murray.

this. if barnes created the number of chances for murray, that murray has created for barnes this season, murray would have scored LOADS of goals. good partnership developing nevertheless.
