In rehab
Baked Beef Stew
Oxtails done in the oven
Bacon Suet Pudding

All followed by either

Syrup Sponge, Spotted Dick or Apple Crumble with custard.

Because the road are bad,and I couldnt go out, I suppose, last night I fancied Fish & Chips from he chippes which is most unusual.

Is that homemade Spooted Dick or supermarket rubbish?

Anything hot

Baked Jackets
Stews
Currys
Sheperds Pie
Plenty of tea

Way out west
It has warmed up enough for my boiler to start working again of its own accord, guess it must have been the condensing pipe all along, house now considerably warmer than last night.

So, back to the real reason for this thread. I reckon anything hot and spicy in large portions is a good winter warmer...for me a curry is an absolute winner, tonight I am going for jerk chicken with rice and peas...followed by ginger sponge and custard...perfect!
