Possible candidates for Brighton and Hove Albion manager.

Dowie ok but palace
Can we Please grow up and stop this 'Palace..' nonsense.

He's a professional manager, HIGHLY qualified and a touch of class. 'Palace' nonsense (which, incidentally, I don't even understand - when I started watching the Albion our bitter rivals were Fulham, Luton and Bournemouth - I'm not even sure Palace had been invented then!) is for FANS not for PROFESSIONALS who earn their living from the game.

And as a fan, I am only interested in what someone will do for the Albion, not what they did at some erstwhile, alleged 'rivals' in another life (and division).

Soryy, rant over ! :lolol:

Do you think bringing back an ex manager naturally means success again? Look at what happened with Micky Adams!

The Micky Adams / Coppell scenarios are completely different.

Forget Coppell was here before, just look at who is out there and available.

The best candidate by a mile.

This "never go back" thing is silly too, MA wasn't a success second time around....big deal.
Coppell would have the full support of the chairman & would only take the job with the intention of leading us out at Falmer. Taylor could be in with a shout of being his assistant so we could possibly have 2 ex managers back this week & I for one think they'd make a great team.
