Have a two legged affair and each club keep their home receipts because neither could be trusted to give any to the other club or would give 10p in the £.

"The Glasgow giants are already holding one fundraising match at Ibrox on 30 March, a 'legends' game against an AC Milan XI that was initially supposed to benefit the teams' charitable foundations but will now direct some much-needed cash to the club's coffers".

Nice touch Rangers.

Classy till the end.

I reckon they should do a fight to the death. The winner keeps the money, and the other closes. There can be only one.

I thought exactly the same when I read the article. Far more important to raise funds for the poor players who have to eke out a living somehow, on a mere £20-30,000 a week.

A band of thieves cup.

Half and half scarves, and all drowning their sorrows together pitying themselves, saying it wasn't their fault.

Don't think of the children, think of the fans.

The money raised would never have reached the charities anyway. Pompey have already led the way with that particular stunt.

So channelling planned funding away from a charity foundation to pour into your maHOOsive black hole of a self-inflicted tax bill (a bill which has come about through Rangers THEFT from the public purse) is alright in your book ? Oh hang on, course it is. You're bust, so as per the standard Pompey blueprint, anything goes.

f*** you and the horse you rode in on.

You have to feel for the spoilt darlings. Today they stuck two fingers up at the administrator in response to his request that the players take a pay cut. Due to their selfishness, many non playing employee's without the clout will probably lose their jobs.

Football debts MUST always be a priority, remember. ???

They turned down the pay cut plan from the administrator, but they did come up with their own, which included top earning players taking a 75% cut, middle players taking 50% cut, and low earning players a 25% cut. It's being considered overnight.

It's because of such polite Rangers fans like yourself, that I wouldn't be sorry to see your Club implode totally.
