If they could ever sustain 27 years in the top flight, or even get anywhere near our average attendance even though they're a league above us, or even get over our average attendance while in the Premier league last season, then I'd be inclined to agree with you. Until then, we will continue to be the biggest club south of London.

to be fair, every club has their cycle. take liverpool for example, hardly a has-been... Man utd won't be this good forever, but they will be the biggest club in england for a very long time.
