just looked at a pompey forum to see how they were bickering, and saw this thread from before the game.

Arrogance is "we will wipe the floor with the batty boys" or "let's teach these upstarts a lesson, they got lucky last time"

Not "I'm strangely optimistic and reckon we'll be too much for them"
