Astonishing really when you think about it. Wouldn't ever want to return to that, I can't run as fast as I used to be able to.

No nor can I...but as a 14 year old it did get the heart pumping.

I can remember me and my mate being chased under the foot tunnel at the bottom of the Holmesdale road, we run as fast as we could over towards Selhurst station where they were 5/6 big lads standing there, we asked for help and one looked down at me as I was only about 14 and said, we are Brighton now FxxK off..and Fxxk off we did very quickly... ahh the good ol bad old days...mind you they would have smashed my face in had I been 2 years older:)

Anyway I digress...

there should be some temporary fencing from the away end to the station so they are segregated.

this will insure minimum contact and eliminate the risk of catching anything and allow a clean shot from the bridge stone throwers.

seriously, we have this everytime we play them, completely over the top reaction.
yes, you will get small pockets of trouble.
yes, you will get all the homophobic stuff
yes, you will get stuff thrown and innocent people getting hurt.

we all know its wrong, but it will always happen unless both sets of away fans get banned from each fixture....... not going to happen, deal with it.

All I expect is for them to be treated the same way we were at their place. That means being held behind so there is no chance of the two fans meetings, and then chucked on a train striaght back to scummy Croydon (even if they live in Brighton)
