OK - serious question. Anyone from Polegate on here? I used to live in Polegate when I was a kid and used to watch Polegate FC at the Recreation Ground in Wannock Road (OK, this was a long time ago - 1950's actually). They seemed to be pretty good in those days - usually scored 5 or 6. Live a long way away now, but always pick up an Argus when I go to visit my dear old Mum, and I look through all the local football results - County League division 7 or whatever, and all the others - but never a mention of Polegate.
Do they still have a team? If so, what are they called now?
