*** Please read: NSC emails not functioning currently ***

For some reason emails that the NSC board generates automatically are currently not being sent. This affects a number of areas:

1) Report post to moderator will not reach their intended destination.

2) New users registering will not receive their activation email.

3) The Insider will not be alerted to new questions in 'Ask The Club'.


If you require any action either PM one of the moderators or email myself at bozza@northstandchat.com and we'll do all we can to help.

Hopefully we'll get the board sending out emails once again soon.

I have just been on the vBulletin site...

Make sure you have a valid webmaster's email address in your Admin CP settings and that there is only one address. Then try this:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Email Options -> Enable "-f" Parameter -> Yes

Then try the vB email functions. If it still doesn't work, then this is either a server and/or mailbox issue

If you've chosen the option to have emails sent to you (!) then this is down to your ISP. I had problems with AOL, emails just disappeared and didn't even appear in the spam inbox. I got round it by having all NSC emails sent to my Gmail account which automatically forwards all emails to my AOL box.
