I don’t think it’s easy to transpose Fabi’s (there I said it) tactics onto our squad, just from watching a couple of videos.

However looking at the squad make up I reckon it’s good news for anyone who would regard themselves as a wingback = Estupinan / Barco / Lamptey / March ……………

Good news for anyone who would like to play LCB or RCB = Veltman / Igor / Webby. Maybe even Pervis here as well …………..

Bad news for centre centre backs who aren’t Dunk = Van Hecke ………………

Bad news for out and out wingers who aren’t Mitoma = Adingra / Sarmiento / Osman. (Mitoma will always play when fit and as a goalscorer will probably benefit from a more central position) …………..

Good news for drop deep and bring others into play type strikers = Welbeck / Ferguson

Whilst Potter purged wingers and fullbacks and swelled our centre-back and centre-midfield stash, I think Fab maybe the opposite. It looks like he is not a fan of having a squad full of central midfielders and attacking midfielders. We could see a number of departures here.

I don't think so, for one we don't exactly have a large number of them to get rid of.

Correct. All this speculation, and the poor guy hasn't even been appointed yet.
