I'm about as "happy" to see him there as I am to see John Terry.

He's not good enough as a starting striker, but probably worth a squad place. I'd love to see Walcott converted into an out and out striker. I reckon he'd be far more cute than Defoe.

By all means pick the little shit, if needs must, but 'happy'. Never.

I worry for Theo - I fear he may get ongoing injury problems throughout his career and not living up to his potential because of it - and once he loses that extra pace in 3 or 4 years time, he could be in trouble. But, I agree, a fully fit Theo, and he should be in the squad.

The main problem with Defoe is that he has one way of playing, He cant adapt to any other way, while he has become less greedy in past few months its still pretty much shoot on sight with him.

If he was replaced by someone better at Spurs I wouldnt be too unhappy to see him leave, sadly for England there isnt anyone else - Sim mentions Walcott as a striker, when he scores 20 a season in the Premiership then maybe.

Really? Why so?

I dont like the man, but I could follow a side with him in if he wasnt at Spurs, unlike Terry for example.

To be honest, its completely unfounded. He just looks like a CHIPPY little WANKER, forever bitching at the ref / opposition. I'd like to PUNCH him.
