I thought hawkins. mcleod looked very unfit

Hinshlewood looked like he needs a few more games but was very encouraging and looked fairly assured

Robinson did open the game a little

thornton did show flashes but yet again ran out of steam

and sullivan was indeed on form tonight the one handed save springs to mind

Difficult to do it from watching on the television, but I thought Thornton was abysmal in the first-half before improving rapidly in the second. Also, we needed someone up there with Fozzy, but at least we didn't put AV there today. Didn't like it playing 2 central defenders in the centre of midfield in the second half for a while, but we haven't got anything else at the minute.

Sullivan 10- Absolutely brilliant!

Whing 7- A couple of good attacking burts, but overall looked pretty strong
Elphick 6- Looked a bit dodgy for me, he is so slow!
Hawkins 7- Played alright before had to come of.
Richards 7- Good at getting forward, and looks alright defending

Cox 8- Linked up well some of the time, good attacking and got stuck in, in defence aswell.
Virgo 7- Worked his bollocks of, I think he won every header possible, Why dive though, when he had the ball 8 yards out.
El-Abd 6- Tidy, nothing brilliant, nothing terrible,
Thornton 7- Had a spell in the second half of excellence, always looked a threat, but didnt pose that threat all the time.
Mcleod 5- 2 good chances, and 1 half chance, f***ed them all up, and wasnt great.

Forster 7- Worked his bollocks of up top, no support until Robinson came on, one of the worst dives I've ever seen

Hinsh 8- Thrown in the deep end a bit, played well and looked strong
Robinson 7- Looked lively and threatning.
Fraser 5- Did he touch the ball?

Whing 7 Solid.
Elphick 6 Didn't handle Holt particularly well, but well taken penalty.
Hawkins 6 Injured early, looked promising though.
Richards 7 Solid.

Cox 6 Fairly quiet, thought that shot was in.
Thornton 7 Slow start, looked lively in second half.
El Abd 6 Seemed to play too far forward when he was supposed to be DM.
Virgo 6 Clearly out of position, but had good effort.
McLeod 5 Very poor.

Forster 6 Apart from penalty he did nothing.

Hinchelwood 6 Looked ok, lacking match practice at higher level.
Robinson 7 Looked lively, hopefully given chance to prove himself.
Fraser 6 Came on late, nothing done wrong.

Sullivan 8 and man of the match.

Whing 7 Solid enough and got forward wel;.
Elphick 7 Good battle with Holt.
Hawkins 5 Not on long enough to score higher.
Richards 6 Defensively sound but wasted good crossing chances.

Cox 7 Cracking shot, looked busy and some nice through balls.
Thornton 7 Better when we started getting him on the ball. Randomly taken off just as he was getting the upper hand.
El Abd 5 Didn't do much to stamp his authority on the game.
Virgo 5 The odd header and tackle but not enough for a central midfielder.
McLeod 5 Poor.

Forster 5 Hard work but short on quality and disgraceful diving.

Hinshelwood 6 Looked solid.Good to have him back.
Robinson 7 Certainly lively. Good running with the ball and a nice shot.
Fraser 5 Not on long enough to score higher.

Sullivan 8 - My MOM

Whing 7 - I thought he was good in attack, wasn't bad defending either
Elphick 7 - Good last-gasp cleance in the first half, played OK.
Hawkins 5 - Was only on 10 mins, still managed to give the ball away a few times, solid in the air however.
Richards 7- Same as Whing.

Cox 7/8 - Seemed quiet in the first half, had a very good second half, worked especially well after Robinson came on..
Virgo 7 - Seemed to work hard, talked himself into a needless yellow card, solid in Midfield.
El-Abd 7 - Had a so-so game. Nothing bad to note, didn't set the world alight, a good no-nonsense game.
Thornton 5 - Our best player and our worst player all rolled into one! Got into some very good positions and looked dangerous in attack, but then undermined all of his own work by not passing.
Mcleod 5 - Didn't do much of note (apart from the terrible shot/cross that injured him) I hope he recovers quickly.

Forster 7 - Hard to give him a score as he had very little service. Got into all the right positions, but the ball never fell for him.

Hinsh 8 - Looked like a new signing, welcome back!
Robinson 7/8 - Gave a much-needed injection of pace - would like to see more of him over the Christmas period.
Fraser ? - Wasn't on long enough to give a rating.

Sullivan 7 Didnt have much to do apart from a few good saves

Whing 7 Looked solid, and got foward well
Elphick 6 Got a stupid booking but was ok
Hawkins Cant relly remember him doig anything wrong but only had 5 mins on the pitch so didnt really have anything to do.
Richards 7 Good game last night, was solid and got forward well. pretty much the same a Whing

Cox 7 Got some good balls in the box but always cut inside when Richards had the ball when we were crying out for someone to run to the corners
Virgo 7 Battled well in the middle, but still playing in the wrong position
El Abd 7 Put in typical El-Abd tackles which added some fight to the midfield, somthing weve been missing other times ive watched the albion this year
Thornton 8 Pretty much the same as Cox but made a few runs down the line, made a few more forward runs with the ball and the final product was slightl better
McLeod 6 pretty poor to be honest, wasnt terrible but was by no stretch of the imaginaton having a good game

Forster 7 Given a thankless job last night and didnt get much suport from the midfield.

Hinsh 7 Looked good and went into the tackles strongy, which is a good sgn after a long injury.

Robinson 8 Probably one of our best players, looked lively, nearly scored a screamer and we looked alot better since he came on

Fraiser didnt have time to do much

In addition to my post above I would like to add a further rating.

The pitch 3 - Most of the turf seemed to have fallen apart by half time. It also suspiciously looked to be on a slope (with the away fans at the bottom end). Started to fall apart even more when the drizzle started.
