I don't think I can top GNLF's ratings, but what the hell.
Blayney 9 Faultless performance, dunno if it was a penalty or not but surely he won't have to pay any petrol money to his chauffeur for a while now.
Hart 6 Up against Watford's best player McNamee but stuck to his task manfully. Pyschologist/hypnotist needed to sort out compulsive handball syndrome though!
Butters 7 Fine goal and won most of his battles.
El Abd 7 Maybe could have done better with King's sucker punch goal but otherwise very good.
Reid 5.5 Hard day at the office for him but still sacrificing himself in this position for the team
Carole 7 Good delivery for our goal, not quite at his best but still threatened.
Oatway 8 Superb tackling display and played a lot of threatening passes, particularly in the first half.
Hammond 6 OK
Frutos 6 Hardworking without being especially dangerous.
CKR 7 Only seems to be able to play for about an hour, but took the fight to the Watford defenders well and is learning to cut down the silly fouls.
Robinson 6 His pace caused a few problems, shame that shot of his was just over the bar, he needs a goal
Subs:
Nicolas 6 Not an ideal right flanker but rolled his sleeves up. Poor composure at times though in the opposition third.
McPhee 5 Honest stint as ever but little threat.
Knight 5.5 A few neat touches but his poor workrate costs us at times, squandered a great chance near the end by not making a run for Hammond's squared ball into the box.
