Henderson 8 - some great saves in second half, couldn't have done anything with the goal (many might disagree, but i dont see how he could have headed it sideways into touch)

El Abd 7 - much better game today
Hart 7.5 - gritty performance, didnt give much away
McShane 7.5 - solid, won everything in the air
Butters 7.5 - ditto McShane

Carole 7 - missed a complete sitter, unlucky with shot against bar - should NEVER have been subbed
Mayo 6 - did ok, but lacked physical presence
Hammond 6 - got stuck in, tried but got nowhere
Frutos 7- all over the plark, lacked a final ball

CKR 6 - one good effort, not enough running
Gatting 6 - good running, no service

Reid 5 - did he touch the ball?
Robinson 5 - not enough time to do anything

Henderson 7 - Only troubled a couple of times. Was waiting for McGhee to give him the nod to come up for the final corner. Slight indecision there then!

El Abd 8 - Thought he had a good game today. Got some tackles in at crucial times.

Hart 8.5 - My man of the match. Great performance at right-back. Very solid defensive performance. Tried hard when pushed up. I thought McGhee should have kept him in defence rather than shove him forward after the substituition.
McShane 7.5 - Good defensive performance as always.
Butters 7.5 - Again, good captains performance. Have we won a game when he's been captain?

Carole 7 - Good effort that hit the bar, should have buried the second chance he had.
Mayo 5 - A bit anoynomus at times. Seem to get pulled about a bit, not knowing where he should have been.
Hammond 7.5 - Played quite solidly, but seem to lack a bit of fitness.
Frutos 6.5 - Lots of running, some nice touches, but wasted lots of the dead ball chances.

CKR 6.5 - Had some good efforts in trying to do what he is paid to do. But, should have passed across the box to other players rushing in, when he had a go at that chance himself.
Gatting 5.5 - Seemed to not know the offside rule in the first-half And he seemed to be lacking pace as well. Had some nice touches in the second half.

Reid 4 - did he touch the ball? Ditto!!
Robinson 4.5 - 10 minutes is not enough for "The Denton Destroyer", especially after you take off a big target man!


Team Effort - 9.5 - At least plenty of chances were created, we just didn't have the nous to bury them!!

Manager rating - 3.5 - Got the setup right in the first half, didn't have the bollocks to try and change it too much in the second though, when we should have been going for it!!
Not very animated at any stage of the match. The clipboard kid seemed to be more into the game.

Away team rating - Watford - 4.5 - Complained for a lot of decisions, plenty of time-wasting for a team that is that high up the table. Didn't really create too many chances.
We should be beating teams like these

Henderson 3? Which game were you at for goodness sake. He was excellent, saved at least 3 certain goals. Get your glasses looked at.

McShane excellent, Hart won so many balls in the air, centre midfield let us down a bit. The rest tried hard.

Good performance but we have to score. Simple as that.

Thought Henderson played well today. He had to commit himself to head the ball away due to a lack of marking and 9 times out of 10 the shot would not have gone in.

The woman near me shouted 'Henderson you are useless' and does it every game. Nothing like supporting your team is there love??

It doesn't matter if we lose 1-0 or 25-0 now. Our goal difference is so shit that we need to have more points than whoever is near us.

If Henderson hadn't decided to run and head the ball for whatever reason, we MAY not have lost.

Anyway it doesn't matter. I'll change his rating to a 10 if people are happier.

Henderson 8. Excellent saves in the second half, but should probably have turned quicker and scooted back to goal after heading THAT ball.

Hart 8. Excellent game. The guy is amazing. Striker one week, right back the next.

McShane 7. Good, but not as dominating as at the start of the season. His suspension will not necessarily be a bad thing as it will give Hinsh an opportunity to get back into the team. And El Abd is probably a better central defended than a full back.

Butters 7. Good performance, but how much longer can he continue?

El Abd 7. Some excellent defensive work, but I blame him for the Watford goal. He should have reacted quicker to Henderson's header instead was caught flat-footed and Watford gained possession. Is that three games in a row when he has been respopnsible for an opponent's goal?

Carole 6. Excellent in flashes, but question his overall contribution.

Hammond 8. Best game for a long time. Strong, good distribution, excellent tackling.

Mayo 6. Didn't shine, but a solid game.

Frutos 6. Frustrating at times, but undoubtedly has bags of talent.

CKR 7. Played well enough to keep his place. Definitely the best of our current crop of strikers and will score if given a proper run.

Gatting 6. OK, but appeared slow at times. Not sure that he's the best choice to start with CKR. I would stick with a CKR-Harty partnership.

Reid 6. Little time to prove anything.

Robinson 4. Did absolutely nothing when he came on.

EL Abd 8 Best performaqnce bya left back this season did the simple things simply and efficiently.
Carole 7 Lot of skill a joy to watch but not enough end product.
Hammond 9* Covered very blade of grass no reckless tackles excellent game. MOM.
Mayo 8 Provided the defensive stabillity that we have been lacking in midfield.
Frutos 8 Similar to Carole but gets more crosses into the box.
CKR 8 Lead the line well and showed he has the ability to be a success just needs a run in the side.
Gatting 6 Looked tired and jaded with a huge responsibility on his shoulders.

Reid 5 Did nothing to improve his chances of a recall but did nothing wrong either.
Robinson 4 Looks totally lost at this level.

Ref: 7 no problems kept game flowing.

MM & staff 4 Like plastic soldiers, no passion poor substitutions.
