I'm surprised to see Cox given such a high rating by some people. His passing in the first part of the match was woeful. He just couldn't seem to get the right weight on the ball.

Things improved later, admittedly.

El-Abd - 7 - solid, commanding performance, great goal
Santos - 7.5 - Very composed on the ball, orchestrated some good attacking moves and the penalty decision against him was a very bad one.
Lynch - 7 - quiet game, but some of his long distance passing was premiership quality.
Mayo - 6.5 - beginning to struggle with his lack of pace

Reid - 8 - quality
Hammond - 6 - nothing special. we need more bite from him in the middle of the park
Cox - 7.5 - ran the show in the first half after the sending off

Revell - 6 - a slower, taller, gary hart but not as menacing
OGH - 8 - great performance. they couldn't cope with him.
Frutos - 5.5 - pony.
