Saturday is a MUST not lose game. We should set up to start the game solid. With our fragile confidence and Crew, going well conceeding early could be a disaster.
Carole always plays better off the bench when the game is more stretched.

fdm - 7 - 2/3 great saves, terrible kicking , maybe should have stopped goal but it did look tricky.
whing - 4 - cant understand people giving him 6 even , yeh put in couple crosses but refused to get forward , won nothing in the air , rubbish
elphick - 6 - well taken goal looked ok
el abd - 7 - did well, won lots in the air
mcnulty - 8 - assured , looks class, bit worried tries to do bit too much
birchall - 5 - didnt do much
fraser - 6- i like him
jarrett - 6 - looks promising
cox -7 - looked to be playing in the centre second half and was at the centre of most things, often last pass went astray, tried hard
virgo - 5 - pretty crap
forster - 8 usual stuff from the man
carole - 7 - changed the game, great touch
davies - 6 - prety good, looked bit jaded but quick and strong , think he weill be good in couple games time, should have scored

Kuipers - 6 - Distribution is a key part of the game for a keeper. Stop giving the opposition the ball back.
Whing - 6 - Committed and fairly solid, despite losing the ball a couple of times in their half.
elphick - 8 - He looked SILKY at times
El abd - 6 - Disappointing. Seemed incredibly uncomfortable on the ball. Failed to dominate in the air.
McNaulty - 8 - I hope everything we get from Stockport is this good
Birchall - 6 - Some good moments.
fraser - 5 - Needs to come and get the ball from the defence.
jarrett - 5 - Little involvement. Disappointing
cox -6 - Please can someone teach him how to cross... still the only player we have who is capable of a defence splittng pass
virgo - 3 - Out of position, out of sorts, sent off. Shocking - but blame White and Booker
forster - 7 - High energy, hustle and bustle. Made the most of largely shit service

kuipers 6 - good agility to make saves but kicking poor as usual

Mcnulty 7 - impressive
el abd 6 - seems a calming influence on back four
Elphick 6 - not as dominating as usual but took goal well
Jarrett 7 - improving

Kuipers 5 Kicking is poor, takes too long to decide what he is going to do.poor command of the box, at fault for the goal but he made 2 very good saves.
Whing 5 Won the ball more than usual distribution is still very poor.
Elphick 6 Sound game but still hoofs the ball everytime,must be under instructions.
El Abd 7 Reliable solid game put his head and foot in when needed but was physically over shadowed.
McNulty 7 Cultured confident display equally happy going forward or defending.
Birchall 6 Good first half contributed a lot
Jarrett 8 MOM superb midfield performance showed his class and what we have been missing all season was in the thick of everything.
Fraser 6 Competant hard working job.
Cox 6 Was at the heart of most of our attacks but his final ball whether it is a cross por pass lets him down.
Virgo 5 Very good first half won everything in the air thrown at him let down by sending off.
Forster 6 Tireless continual running a typical non scoring Forster performance.

I'm not sure Virgo won anything in the air. He's not a centre forward but I can understand the team selection. Thought he should have come off when Davies came on because he is not a midfielder either. He seems untouchable in that a place must always be found for him in the team.

Kuipers 6 - a bit unsighted for goal so unfortunate. 2 cracking saves, but dodgy kicking.
Whing 5 - average.
Elphick 7 - coming good again, and goal always helps confidence.
El-Abd 6 - sound again
McNulty 8 - a joy to watch. Don't ever let withdean whiners make you panic into hoof ball.
Birchall 6 - yet to see the best of him.
Jarrett 8 - another joy to watch. Wish he'd get forward a bit more though.
Fraser 5 - has played much better than that in recent weeks.
Cox 5 - average.
