Hargreaves - 8 - what a turnaround, from English joker to classy European CHAMPION (again?).
Scholes - 7 - great first half, faded after the booking
Carrick - 7 - erratic, but positive display

Ronaldo 5 etc what game was you watching. The best player in the world was outstanding in the first half as he was fed balls from his midfield but Chelsea tightened up and Lampard and Ballack took over the midfield in the 2nd half as Scholes tired and stemmed the supply of balls to him.

Edwin 10 - for penalty heroics alone, top marks have to be awarded. You don't get better nights than this as a keeper.

Brown 7 - solid enough.

Rio 7 - not at his awesome best, slightly outshone by Vidic.

Vidic 8 - an absolute BEAST of a man. Was Drogba even playing?

Evra 7 - faultless.

Hargreaves 8 - a really disciplined performance in a slightly new role.

Scholes 7 - faded as it went on, but set the early tone with his trademark incisive passing.

Carrick 7 - same as Scholesy.

Best player on the planet 9 - showcase display from a man whose skills can't be put into words.

Tevez 8 - quality display let down by some shocking finishing.

Rooney 6 - really disappointing for me.
