I was discussing the virtues of a pizza stone and decided to "knock one out" tonight

( that knocking the air out of the risen dough you understand )

Anyway - pizza stone not pictured here, but here it is. You can clearly see the crispy edges that only a "stone" can produce at home.

That's rocket and parmesan thrown on prior to serving.

In fairness I'm not the biggest pizza fan anyway, but I think it's the amount of leaves that are turning me off.

The home-made base is probably really nice.
