Can I just say that there was absolutely f*ck all wrong with the runway at Bristol. Just ask the Civil Aviation Authority who throughout the whole episode have consistently stated that the "runway is safe in both wet and dry conditions".

I can also tell you I still get congratulations around the airport for our Play Off victory in 2004 - if any of my colleagues support a Bristol team, it's Rovers not City.

Only a mile or so from Ashton Gate and there is a very light drizzle - nothing more.

No idea of the state of the pitch currently though.
