I feel very sorry for the lady concerned but decanting petrol in an enclosed space with an active heat source nearby is a bit silly to say the least.

Quite, decanting oetrol next to an open flame, clearly not the brightest bulb in the box.

However, it does show up how ridiculously incompetent this government are, it's exactly because people like this exist that the government advising people to stockpile petrol was incredibly stupid and irresponsible. Petrol should only be stored by people competent to do so safely.

Petrol's available everywhere here. No problems at all, but then we don't have a government stupid enough to encourage idiots to panic buy...

...yes that's right, the current British government is EVEN stupider than the Cypriot one (and they stored a shipload of confiscated ammunition next to the island's biggest power station, until it blew up and destroyed it).
