I was never a great Peter Taylor fan either. I always thought that he only inherited a good Micky Adams' team and never gave him the credit he deserved for our Division 2 championship. History has proven many people, including myself, wrong.

And now this gesture just goes to show that Peter Taylor is a top bloke, in addition to being a top manager.

Hearing this makes you wonder ............if only he had been given the same budget as SC got what then ? He was right the team wasnt good enough fopr Div 1. Wouls we still be ' just an urban team' if we were still in Div 1.
