and I have the english language file for it that you drop in and get english text. Go to any PSP forum and you will see that this is available.

If you have the Japanese version on UMD, is there anyway you can use that file to make it English text, or is that only avaliable if you download the file from the net?

2nd option Im afraid. You have to get at the files to edit them and as far as im aware you cannot copy or delete from a retail UMD

I also have Winning Eleven 9 Ubiquitous Evolution and the English option file*.

It's pretty awesome for a handheld version but there are a few issues:

Harder to control.
No 'wide' camera.
No Cups.
No Master League.

Other than that though, an excellent conversion.
But the PS2 version (fully patched into English) is unsurprisingly better.

*To all intents and purposes this is Pro Evolution Soccer 5
