PERSONAL GAFFES - ever said something you wish you hadn't ?

Cheesus! You really DO have an extemely boring and repetitive sense of humour. Everyone must be rolling their eyes constantly.

Recently moved away from a really hoirrible place where i had lived for 20 odd years... Was round the ex mother in laws and told her my daughter was having a party for her 6th birthday, but i wouldnt be inviting any of the 'scum' from Lewisham (where i used to live) then suddenly realised I was sitting in her living room in LEWISHAM arghhhhhhhhh

queuing as we came out of church at a friend's dad's funeral I was struggling to think of some comforting words to say to the widow. What made me say "how nice it is to see you here"!

The grieving widow just smiled.

On being introduced to my new boss I said he reminded me of a guy I worked with in Jersey, adding "He was a real bastard !"

Needless to say our subsequent relationship never rose more than a few degrees above freezing.
