Anyone remember him dazzling us with his skills for 45 mins a game. As i remember he could never perform for the full 90 mins

Meopham, Kent.
I remember him having a blinder away to Sheff Utd, in one of the most amazing games I've ever been at. We were 3-0 down, came back to 4-3, only to lose 5-4.

Although, you're probably right, he probably stank for the first 45 mins, as most of the team did that day, and then performed for the 2nd 45.

Was annoyed when we had to sell him, then we sign super Mak Barham to replace him. Happy days.

"We all agreeee,
Barham is better than Woody!"

Barham was also a 45 min man if I remember as was Robinson

Flash walker was the most consistent winger I've seen

Paul Wood was the Brooker of his day.

Indeed after that Sheff Utd game Dave Bassett bought him from us.

But he could leap like a salmon for a small guy. Regularly outjumped fullbacks. Like he had Inspectror Gadget springs in his feet!

Paul Wood was only a loan player as I recall, signed at the same time as Steve Cotterill ?

that was Paul Moulden a striker.

Paul Wood was a winger about 5 years before. Think he came from Portsmouth....

I remember that game well, I travelled up to Sheffield on a brand new Sierra Cosworth with a Brighton based Blades fan. Wish we had some of that team nowadays.
