Saw him last night in the soulless breeze block edifice that is K2

Alright for what it was, but a bit too acoustic/keyboardy for me

Preferred his tour a few years ago at The Centre

A bit more powerful with more leccy guitar action

AND 'In The Crowd' :)

Going to see him in Dublin on Monday and Belfast on Tuesday. Brixton at the end of the month. I think he is going through something of a golden patch at the moment.

wear ear plugs.f***ing fantastic but unbelievably loud.

and how come he can smoke on stage.

steve cradock from ocean colour scene fantastic on guitars, between his and wellers i have never seen so many on display.like a guitar shop on the stage.
support act (wish i could find out who they are) would be worth missing the unbelievably slow bar service.and no drinks in the arena.

ENJOY.

your ears still ringing?

Support band were called little barrie. Thought their drummer was a maniac!

Yes my ears are still ringing !!

Cans of Fosters £3 each !!!!

Quality encore !!

Saw people leave after the first encore as they thought that was it, shame because it was mental at the end !!

was it not the Brixton riots that inspired ghost town?

I read an interview with Jerry Dammers (in Mojo, I think) where he talked about that song and how he wrote it after a gig in the south of England which had particularly disturbed him. He described exactly what went on that night in Crawley.

we waited for the 2nd encore as the lights stayed down worth it for those that stayed
the line for the bar was horrendous and for some unknown reason the "bar" staff insisted on pouring the beer, really slowly, into the plastic cups which made the wait even longer .20 mins for a warm bottle of bud ,
Ears are still ringing though
