Problem with Robinson is that he just hoofs it up the pitch everytime so doesn't fit in with our game. Not sure how easy it would be to train that out of him.....

If true, the lowest save to shot ratio doesn't sound good. Remember it's a ratio so rest of team don't have much to do with that. Arguably, that makes his case even worse, with loads of shots he has loads of practice to make saves

I'm not convinced he's the right keeper for where we're going and how we play (although clearly better than the incumbents!!)

I think that Paul Robinson is one of the best keepers in the country so much so that I think Hodgson should ask him to reconsider his stance on being an England back up for the Euros and would expect him to be snapped up by another Prem Club.

But he has just won promotion from this division. So if he didn't fancy playing second fiddle at his age and still wanted first team football, without uprooting his family and moving far away. He could be between the sticks for us next year.

Well, revenue is not just gate receipts, there is commercial revenue, TV money, etc.
