That was based on PB's though. Thiam is only recently returned from a long injury lay off, and unlikely to threaten her PB. The current lead is worth about 7 seconds (I think).
If Thiam doesn't throw further, then it is game on.

Their PBs are about 6 seconds apart so it’s not impossible.
I've looked at the points table just now but don't really know how this works - presumably she'd have to finish a similar time behind Kaelin or Vidts to lose the silver?

When KJT won the world title in 2019 she was around 11 seconds ahead of Thiam, but KJT went into that in the lead. Slightly different scenario this time around.
The strength and agility of these climbers is ridiculous
Its not a straight line graph, but yes - she'd have to finish MILES behind one of those to drop below them. If she goes anywhere near her PB then they'd have to run a completely unrealistic time.
Barring injury / mishap, she's nailed on for a minimum silver.
