Hence why he is looking at alternative sites

The National Sports Stadium would appear to be an obvious place - once that white elephant at Stratford gets built, it will effectively be redundant, and at least you would be in the district that bears your club's name. Having said that, you would have to deal with the ultimate home of Tory NIMBYism, Bromley.

Jordan grew up in in Selhurst and lived in close proximity to the ground.

He is a lifelong fan.

Don't think he is up for screwing Palarse!

In all seriousness Pez that is spot on and although you can never be sure of anything i am pretty confident Jordan won't do anything to put Palace in any sort of jeopardy. Born in Whitehorse Lane (poor bastard!)

... The other site mentioned is the old ground at The Nest right next to Selhurst Station. These rumours of relocating have escalated since the Freehold was purchased so whether or not they are fact or fiction is anyone's guess to be honest.
Blimey does The Nest still exist? My Grandad used to watch Palace there in the early 1920s. I assumed it had been long built over.

I seem to remember years ago back in the 1960s there was talk of Palace moving back to their original ground in Crystal Palace in a shared development with the new athletics stadium.

Whereabouts in Coulsdon could you fit a ground?

Born down in a dead man's town
The first kick I took was when the Albion was in town
You end up like a pikey that's been beat up too much
'Til you spend half your life in a caravan.

CHORUS

Born in the Whitehorse Lane
Born in the Whitehorse Lane
Born in the Whitehorse Lane

Repeat to fade....

Cane Hill Mental Hospital - needs redevelopment and it'd suit the Palace fans perfect :jester:
Isn't that on top of a hill though?

I liked it too - and being a Springer fan, Palace devotee and pikey, it is very apt. Hang on, I've dobbed myself in there.

Well the actual ground doesn't still exist but the area where it once stood obviously does!
