Riihilahti stays at Crystal Palace

Aki Riihilahti, 27, has signed a new two-year contract with Crystal Palace.

After last season Riihilahti was offered a deal among others from the German Bundesliga.

Riihilahti was a part of the sensational promotion of Crystal Palace to the Premier League of England last season. The club was promoted to the Premier League after a poor early season by winning West Ham in the decisive play-off game 1-0.

Last time Crystal Palace played in the Premier league 1998.

Riihilahti has played in Crystal Palace since 2001.
