Silly old bat
But he put himself under that strain by not going in the first place. What are the police supposed to do. Someone resists so we let them go rather than them collapse.

If someone is committing a ground rule offence, it is better to evict them at half time or note their seat number and write to them banning them from future games, rather than trying to drag them out in the midst of a crowd. How many people did it take to get one man out?

Seeing that reminded me of our first away game at the KC Stadium where the stewards and police tried to take 2 Albion fans out for standing up. They soon backed off though when 20 or so Albion fans started punching said stewards/police.

It was for standing, where everyone around him was also standing. Thinnk they might have been looking to make a point

You seem to suggest that he was on the floor because he had been put there by the stewards/police due to them getting 'physical'. You don't know that. Looks more like he has collapsed.

The trouble with clips like this they merely show that the guy resisted being escorted away, even when confronted with overwhelming odds. I don't care what the guy taking the video says was the alleged reason, you need to hear both sides. As BoF said, resisting was the dumbest thing he did. As for the comment that 'he paid for his season' what the f*** has that got to do with it. If he was breaking ground rules and/or was abusive to stewards then he deserved to get taken out.

I was more using that as a reason as to if his offence was just standing to watch the match.
