The two highest placed clubs (based on last season's league tables) get a buy in order to make the maths work.

They were Newcastle 'we belong in the top 7' United and Middlesborough.

The draw should so have been

Newcastle United v Accrington Stanley

Looks like something to make the relegated teams feel more important

Peterborough away - a last chance to stand on a big, covered kop.
QUOTE]

I completely forgot about Peterborough, that would certainly be a very good draw, especially as i wasn't able to go there last season, and it is always good to be in a terraced end with a roof

It’s the draw for the Carling cup tomorrow and I’ve got this funny feeling we’re going to draw Palace away!

I’ve still never seen Brighton play Palace at Selhurst park so here’s hoping aye!

Anyone got a preference for the first round draw?
Do one, never been to selhurst

In the away end i hope:rant::rant::rant:

Afraid not, six times. Four times watching palace, twice watching Wimbledon.

Sounds bad I know but at the time the only people i knew who went to football were Palace or Wimbledon fans. If a load of mates arranged to go to games I was more than happy to go along.
