It's been a long time since I did maths so can anyone help:

A=B^N

if A and B are known, how do I solve for N ?

N=log base B of A

edit: if you dont have a calculator where you can input you own logs
A = B^N take log base 10 of each side
logA = logB^N
logA = NlogB
N = logA/logB
