pasty
A different kind of pasty
Go left go left......
I do remember that but I think you've written it in a bit of a 'Wurzel' way. Rather than going 'ooohhh aaarrrrr" I remember it as more clipped, sort of: "Oh ah, oh ah oh to be a southern-AH!" (The 'oh' pronounced as midway between 'oh' and 'ooh' if that makes sense).....SOUTHERNER!
Seldom heard chant nowadays. I think we should reintroduce on Saturday.
Any one remember any more dormant chants??
Go left go left......
Never felt more like singing the blues
When Brighton win & palace lose
Oh Brighton, you got me singing the blues
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way, oh what fun it is to see Brighton win away ...
We all follow the Albion, over land and sea (Hate Palace!) we all follow the Albion, on to victory ... [actually we may have given that a rendition at Brentford?]
Johnny Crumplin football genius
Two, four, six, eight
Who do we appreciate?
I thought it was HATE PALACE.
Well, some people may sing that but "And Palace" makes a bit more sense in the context of the song's lyric.
And that's what I remember from the late 70s
