What is your opinion on the versatility of this culinary delight? ???

Baked Ham and Cheese Omelet

This is an old-fashioned, ranch style breakfast. If you don't have a cast iron skillet, bake in a glass pan.

Ingredients
1-1/2 eggs per person
Evaporated milk - 1/2 cup per every dozen eggs
yellow onion, finely chopped
chopped ham (varies depending on if you are serving meat on the side)
cheddar cheese to taste
salt - 1/2 teaspoon per 18 eggs
pepper as desired
Beat eggs and evaporated milk until well blended. Add seasonings and mix. Add ham and cheese, stirring to coat. Saute onion in butter in cast iron skillet for a few minutes. Add the egg mixture and place in oven to bake. Using a long spatula, lift egg mixture every 10 minutes or so until done. Sprinkle cheese and parsley on top.

Serves: 8.

Bacon pieces in pasta with spicy sauce is always nice, basically prepare the bacon by cutting into smallish squares and frying whilst boiling the pasta, after draining the pasta place the bacon pieces into the pan - add sauce and stir!
Serve with a nice cool beverage...preferably beer as the spicy sauce should also be a hot one!

As for omlets, another decent one is adding a few dash's of worcester sauce and small chunks of chicken, sliced green peppers and fried mushrooms!

no no no that forks all wrong Italia :nono:
You need a special fork with a knife edge on the left handside of the farthest left 'fork', this helps it 'cut' throught the omlet with ease - this way you dont need a knife so as to leave you to hold a beverage in that hand instead, its called a Knork and is found in good outlets across western belgium! :)

The KNORK™’s unique functional and structural abilities are due to its design. This improved universal fork is a combination of the particular functions and characteristics of a knife and fork. With its balanced handle and enlarged end, the KNORK™ provides a greater surface which is able to fit and press against the palm of the user’s hand providing stability and comfort when using the tool as a knife.

The head is comprised of both outer and inner fork tines. The inner fork tines have a shape consistent with a typical fork that is commonly used but the outer tines have increased width. The outer curved edges may be dull, intentionally sharpened, or serrated. Its curved outer edges provide increased cutting capability through a unique rocking motion

The handle’s balanced and smooth contour also features a finger platform flanking both sides which allows a person to press one or more fingers against the side of the fork for comfort when cutting. This also allows the KNORK™ to be used by persons having either a right-handed or left-handed orientation.

The KNORK™ has the potential to be offered to travelers on commercial carriers during mealtime, with a limited concern about it being converted into a weapon when constructed out of plastic or a similar material. The narrowed tine ends will break off under shearing pressure which limits the potential of it being used as a pointed weapon and dulls it as to future use.

The KNORK™ is also beneficial to persons having motor skill disabilities, use of only a single hand or any situation where the use of a fork and knife are impossible. In such a situation, the enlarged handle allows easier gripping and provides all aspects of both a fork and knife as a single utensil. The finger platform allows the user to be more readily accessible to cutting food.
