Rowing, as stated has over performed for quite a while and a lot of gold medals from them supplanted others under-performing.think it is quite unfair they are getting the lime light they don't need, if after a Paris they continue to under perform then justified.

I do wonder about their strategy, surely there is a better younger rower to develop then having Glover on a comeback trail that did not work out.

Amazing the public schools need this much funding. How many rowers from varied backgrounds and they get 27m while we’ve got other Olympians selling the family silver to fund their success. We need to row back from giving the rich kids this much dosh.

think Team GB and whole Olympic movement needs a serious look at itself. they fund rowing for dozens of millions, but other have to pay their own way to compete in BMX? it doesnt even need millions diverted, just if someone qualifies Team GB should be funding their trip.

You put money into BMX tracks you’re effectively setting up accessible youth clubs in cities getting kids into a healthy fun off the streets pursuit. Same with athletics, swimming. Rowing - :shrug:
