Those costumes they wore, the muscles, the fact that the secrets revealed when he held aloft his magic sword (ooooh, matron!) were "fabulous", even the name He-Man...

Can't say I noticed it at the time, but looking back, it does appear that the entire series was written by the San Francisco Pride Consortium as some kind of soft porn movie
