Business Development Manager.
Salary: Negotiable basic + commission
Due to the expansion of the commercial team we are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Executive. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Sales this is an opportunity to assist in the development of Corporate Sales strategy at this vibrant Football Club. You will be required to generate sales from the business community across an exciting portfolio of products including corporate hospitality, advertising solutions and corporate events. You must be target driven and be able to work under pressure to achieve.
The Role:
Joining in a new business capacity you will work at the frontline of Corporate sales, introducing our service and products to new clients, generating leads, converting sales and hitting targets.
In more detail you will:
• Work with the Corporate Sales Manager to establish new sales initiatives and lead generation activities.
• Network with prospective and current clients to maximise sales opportunities
• Follow up warm leads and new business enquiries that come into the company.
• Attend key local events, making the most of networking opportunities.
• Introduce our service to new clients through cold calling.
• Help to grow the corporate sales database.
You will be a Business Development Executive/ Sales Professional with:
• A proven sales record
• Excellent communication skills on the phone, in written form and face to face.
• The ability to work as part of a close knit team and using your own initiative.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A genuine interest and passion about the future development of Crystal Palace F.C.
• A little black book of contacts
The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record in new business sales and will already have a network of corporate contacts across South London. A strong work ethic is essential to the role as is a good understanding of the football industry.
