i think if the rest of midfield kept up with cms we might have a whole load more chances. that being said, how many times has he missed in front of goal anyway? Def need a new keeper. If people say ankergren is not champs standard then what are poke and brez? Either get someone out on loan or wait till jan.

This and we have no options at full back. We are not a bad side, but it's not looking like a promotion chasing side either. The full backs have been poor for the past few games and it is killing us out there. Sadly unlike the forwards and midfielders and even centre halves we do not have many alternatives to Painter and Calderon.

this is so true we should have signed from the back during the transfer window...defence is very poor we said it last year exactly on here what if elphick and el-abd get injured

Just enjoy our new stadium and our fantastic managaer and decent players. Remember David Lee / Mark McCammon et al - things are rosey at the moment still overall!

To be fair, and this may be reality check for some, we have a good team which should finish at least mid table this year. We do need 3 or 4 players but this isn't going to happen overnight! Welcome to the championship! A year of consolidation will be no bad thing!

shut up you twat there is a problem the team are leaking goals, 11 in 4 games, we know we are not going to win every game but we should not be getting beat like we are, we are albion supporters like you and want our team to perform well every week, with a big effort.
Stop being such a bunch of negative spoilt plastic supporters. We were in League 1 last season without a football ground. We're in the play-offs after just getting beaten away to a very strong Ipswich team, not that bad really now is it?. Its a disgrace that we should feel any self pity at the moment when you look back at Halifax away in the bottom tier with the likes of Peter Smith (dreadlocks) and Jeff Minton running our show. Amazing times with an exciting future. f*** today and bring on tomorrow! SEAGULLS!!!

The man speaks sense. People have got so used to us winning lots of games and over react after. This lg is very tough - we were playing against Chopra / Bowyer / Bullard etc today - I mean come on it's a bit diff from lg 1!
