It look like the giant screen at the back of the south will be a bit smaller than the one in the north, unless they have one more upright to put up.

Noticed that too, south stand has 4 main uprights and the north has 5 ?

Of course they are the holes for the goalposts and the stantions behind. Thats why they've painted the goal-lines and touchlines.

I'm hoping they'll do a little TRIAL RUN of the goals today to make sure they fit.

It must be perspective because they look only a few feet apart.

The angle probably is a bit deceptive, but it really couldn't be anything else, particularly as they've done exactly the same thing up the other end.

I agree they are the post markings, you image the 6 yard box added and then the edge of the area coming towards the cam and its pretty much spot on
